On RAW, Road Dogg was attacked in the locker room, knocked out and hospitalized. He was stripped of the Hardcore Championship and so Al Snow took on fellow J.O.B. Squad member Bob Holly with the title on the line! After battling throughout the arena using brooms, coolers and other objects lying around backstage, they eventually fought their way outside the arena. Bob Holly threw Snow into a traffic sign and a chain link fence, and Snow broke right through both. Snow choked Holly with some barbed wire. Eventually the superstars battled right into the freezing cold waters of the Mississippi River! The match ended when Holly trapped Snow in a chain link fence and pinned him to become the new Hardcore Champion!

Next up, Midian took on the Big Boss Man. The Corporate member was able to finish off Midian with a sidewalk slam. However, after the match the members of the Ministry surrounded the ring, trapping Boss Man inside. As the Undertaker looked on, the other members of the Ministry beat down Boss Man and dragged him backstage.

The Tag Team Championship was on the line as D’Lo Brown and "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry took on Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart, accompanied by Debra. Before the match got underway, Henry presented Ivory with flowers and candy. Ivory had promised that if Debra interfered in any way, she would rip every shred of clothing off her body. D’Lo seemed to have control of Owen Hart and he climbed to the top rope, but Debra distracted him! Ivory ran over and got in Debra’s face, and D’Lo tried to separate the two women. Inside the ring, Owen nailed Mark Henry in the knee with a guitar. Henry appeared to be hurt badly and was forced to tap out after Jarrett put him in the figure four. After the match, Ivory fulfilled her promise as she began ripping off Debra’s clothes, but the women were pulled apart before Debra was completely naked.

Billy Gunn came out next to officiate the Intercontinental Title match between Val Venis and Ken Shamrock. Shamrock had Val in the ankle lock, but outside the ring Ryan Shamrock helped Val get to the ropes. Ken was livid, and he immediately went outside to confront his sister. Ryan slapped him across the face! Then Billy Gunn got in Shamrock’s face, and Shamrock shoved him. Billy was clearly angered, and he nailed Shamrock and tossed him back into the ring. Venis rolled up the champion and Gunn administered a rather fast three count. Val Venis became the new Intercontinental Champion. After the match, Shamrock and Billy battled back toward the locker room. Then Billy ran back out to the ring and attacked Val Venis!

Triple H and X-Pac teamed up next to face their archenemies, Kane and Chyna! With Kane and Triple H battling outside the ring, X-Pac nailed Chyna with the Bronco buster, but Shane McMahon came from behind and attacked X-Pac. Shane ran away and X-Pac chased him back to the locker room, leaving Triple H to fend for himself. Triple H threw Kane into the steel ring steps and then went after Chyna. He had her set up for the Pedigree, but Kane recovered and came in and hit him with a chokeslam. The Big Red Machine dragged an unconscious Chyna over towards Triple H and put her on top. The referee ran back in and administered the three count, and the Corporation won!

The World Wrestling Federation Championship was on the line as Mankind defended against The Rock in a Last Man Standing match. Both superstars dished out their fair share of punishment. Mankind put The Rock through a table, and later tried to do it again but The Rock backdropped him. With the champion lying outside the ring, The Rock threw the steel ring steps from inside the ring down to the floor onto Mankind. Back inside the ring, both superstars grabbed a steel chair, ran and clobbered each other with them. Neither one could answer the ten count, and the referee called the match a draw. Both superstars were taken away by ambulance.

Mr. McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin squared off in a long anticipated cage match. The bout didn’t officially start for several minutes, as Austin beat on Mr. McMahon outside the ring. Both men climbed the cage and Austin slammed Mr. McMahon’s head into the steel. The owner’s head bounced off and he went flying 20 feet down through the Spanish announcer’s table! Ambulance crews quickly vkmwi1.jpg (10353 bytes)came out and attended to the owner, but Austin said he wasn’t done with Mr. McMahon yet! The Rattlesnake chased away the EMT crews and rolled Mr. McMahon’s stretcher into the cage! The owner went flying into the steel, then Austin beat him with the backboard he had been strapped to. Finally both men entered the cage and the match officially got underway. Several times Austin had the opportunity to leave and win the match, but a beaten Mr. McMahon continually provoked him back in each time. The crowd wanted a stunner, and the Rattlesnake obliged, but suddenly Paul Wight emerged from underneath the ring! Wight grabbed Austin and threw him into the steel cage, but the cage gave way and Austin went flying to the outside and won the match! Austin and Wight had an intense stare down as St. Valentine’s Day Massacre came to an end.
